We have figured out the perfect ratio of all the elements that go into making kombucha so it’s less pungent, but still tangy, without that vinegar taste to overpower the flavor. The Bu Kombucha is effervescent and smooth, and pairs well with your favorite foods. The Bu Kombucha mixes and blends well to make custom drinks too.
The Bu is raw and authentic, low in sugar, and has unique non-vinegary flavors. The Bu combines all of these appealing characteristics to create a healthy and delicious kombucha. Some other kombuchas are authentic but they add high-sugar fruit juice to hide the pungent taste. Other brands call themselves kombucha but pasteurize their product which kills the natural probiotics developed during fermentation.
The Bu contains the lowest sugar of any kombucha at 9g of sugar and only 40 calories per can.Our goal is to deliver a beverage that supports a healthy lifestyle.
The Bu Kombucha is low in sugar at only 9 grams per can. We’ve developed a special low-calorie blend of organic cane sugar and organic agave syrup to catalyze the fermentation and to minimize the sugar remaining after the fermentation process is complete.

Kombucha is a fermented, effervescent, and lightly sweetened black or green tea drink commonly intended as a functional beverage for its health benefits.
“SCOBY” is actually an acronym: Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast. A SCOBY is the living home for the bacteria and yeast that transform sweet tea into tangy, fizzy kombucha. The SCOBY seals off the fermenting kombucha from the air and protects it from outside, undesirable bacteria while it’s fermenting.
